Hi! I’m Robynn Whiting, the sole creator behind Robynn’s Nest Pottery.
My journey with pottery began in college when I took my first ceramics class, but it wasn’t until many years later that I truly rediscovered my passion. In 2017, I felt a deep pull back to clay and signed up for another class. From the moment my hands touched the wheel again, I knew this was where I belonged. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to creating functional, high-end pottery that brings beauty and joy to everyday life.
I specialize in hand-thrown pottery with refined, hand-carved textures and a signature two-tone glaze effect, giving each piece a timeless, organic feel. While my primary focus is wheel-thrown ceramics, I also enjoy exploring hand-building and sculptural techniques, believing that experimenting with different methods enhances my craftsmanship.
My work is deeply inspired by nature and the world around me—the textures of tree bark, the movement of water, the way light dances on surfaces. Each piece is made with intention, balancing artistry with functionality so that my pottery is not only beautiful to look at but also a pleasure to use.
At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to create handmade ceramics that elevate daily life. Whether it’s a beautifully carved vase holding fresh flowers on your table or a handcrafted bird feeder bringing nature into your yard, my pottery is designed to add artistry and intention to your surroundings. I hope each piece brings a sense of warmth, connection, and beauty to your home.
